'Video' Playback

When playing a video at 'full screen' size you may see the 'play/pause' button in the centre of the screen. To remove this just move your mouse cursor/pointer to the very top of the screen (leave it there) and the play/pause button will be hidden after two or three seconds.

‘Dim the Lights’

The 'Dim the Lights' feature allows you to see individual photos on a dark background while also hiding other page elements.

In this view you can scroll through all of the photos in a ‘Gallery’ using the left and right-hand navigation markers that are located halfway up the sides of the screen.

Please note these markers do not show until your cursor is near to where they are located on the screen.

To view images in the ‘Dim the Lights’ feature:

  • Navigate to a ‘Gallery’ e.g. Robin and left single-click on an image thumbnail to select it.
  • Move your cursor onto the image and left single-click again to enter the 'Dim the Lights'  mode.
  • Scroll through all of the photos in a ‘Gallery’ using the left and right-hand navigation markers that are located halfway up the sides of the screen. These markers do not show until your cursor is near to where they are located on the screen .

To exit ‘Dim the Lights’  just left-click the on-screen image.

‘Slideshow’ Options

If you select the ‘Slideshow’ mode when you open a collection then various viewing options are available to you.

You can:

  • Change the background colour to suit your own viewing requirements by using the greyscale chart located centrally on the taskbar at the top of the screen. Just roll your cursor over the greyscale shade you prefer.
  • Vary the auto ‘Slideshow’ playback speed within ‘options’ located on the right of the top taskbar.
  • Manually scroll through the images using the arrows on the taskbar located at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select individual images by clicking on the thumbnails situated on the lower taskbar.

Please note if the taskbars are not visible then just move your cursor to the top or bottom of the screen.
