Square Piano, Croft Castle, Herefordshire, July 2017

A rare 5½ octaves square piano made in Dublin by William Southwell in 1784, although there is some uncertainty about this date.
This piano at Croft Castle in Yarpole, Herefordshire, has a mahogany inlaid case and is said to be the earliest surviving example of its type.
