Elizabethan Garden, Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire.

The re-created Elizabethan Garden as seen from the Strong Tower.
This garden was originally established in 1575 by Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester to woo Queen Elizabeth 1.
Much of the castle was destroyed in the 1650s during the English Civil War and in later times the gatehouse was converted to a family home.
