Leicester`s Building, Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire.

A four storey building built by Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester in 1571-2 as royal chambers to impress Queen Elizabeth I who would then stay at the castle. His intentions were to win her hand in marriage.
Much of the castle was destroyed in the 1650s during the English Civil War.
